Dr. Philipson is a renowned endocrinologist, world authority on diabetes, and founding director of the Kovler Diabetes Center. Dr. Philipson has spent over 30 years researching diabetes and has published over 180 peer-reviewed articles. He has been an active member of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for his entire career.

Dr. Greeley is a pediatric endocrinologist at the Kovler Diabetes Center who specializes in the treatment of infants, children, and teens with all types of diabetes. Dr. Greeley's research has focused on how best to classify diabetes type in each individual patient. He has a particular interest in monogenic diabetes.

Dr. Naylor is a pediatric endocrinologist at the Kovler Diabetes Center who specializes in the care of children and adolescents with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Dr. Naylor's research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of monogenic diabetes, aiming to determine population prevalence and establish treatment protocols. Dr. Naylor is also a dedicated educator, teaching medical students, interns, and residents.

Lisa is an experienced research professional and Registered Dietitian with a strong clinical and research background in diabetes mellitus. She currently serves as Research Director for the Kovler Diabetes Center’s Diabetes and Genetics program. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, with a minor in Native American Studies, from the University of Michigan. She earned a Master of Public Health degree and completed Registered Dietitian training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
